I didn’t learn janitorial work in a classroom or from a business book.

I learned it at age 10 — working side by side with my Uncle Manny and Aunt Lucy. We’d go to the buildings together as a family. I’d take out the trash, mop the floors, clean the restrooms. Every job. Every building. Every time.

What looked like a chore to most kids was a masterclass — in discipline, in pride of work, and in what it truly means to serve someone well.

That foundation never left me.
